As to whether Realplayer can deal with Quick Time files:  sorry:  I Can't help 
you there Jim! 
Realplayer works well for me and I had no trouble downloading it.

Jewel, will real player play quick time files? I have the victor reader
stream, and widows media player won't play stuff I record on the stream.
Also, I'm having trouble downloading real player. I get the installer, and I
hear preparing to install, and then, I can't tell anything because Jaws 11
says nothing. I'm running windows 7 here.
