Latest OpenBook 8 works ok on Windows 7 64-bit. I have not tried all options in OpenBook, but scanning and reading works great. Braille also works fine with the latest version of OpenBook 8 on Win 7.
You'll need the OpenBook install CD from September 2009 to use it successfully with Win 7 64-bit. I tried an older version but then I could not use Braille etc. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of chris hallsworth Sent: 26. juni 2010 18:37 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Computer advice. I can see only OpenBook 8 being listed on their downloads area. OpenBook 9 therefore isn't out just yet, but yes, that is the next major version of OpenBook.
