Every computer comes with a system clock that the insert + F12 combination
can access but like the other fellow said many people want such an animal to
work automatically at regular intervals. The chess clock deal sounds fine to
me as well although I haven't played a game for a very long time. I even
have an accessible chess game on here but have not taken the time yet to
play it and I even did some beta testing on the thing so I know it works
with screen readers.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] A talking clock

Dear David and Fellow List Members,
But I thought all versions of Windows comes with a talking clock!

I mean, I hold down the JAWS key, (0 on the num pad) and hit F12 and I get
JAWS speaking the time.
To get the Day and Date I hit it twice in rapid succession.

If you do not mind, I will tell you what a group of Blind Chess enthusiasts
are desperately looking for, a computerized Chess Clock, that is a clock
with two times, one for you and one for your opponent, which you can stop
and start, like a pair of "Timers".

Has anyone seen anything like this that is JAWS friendly?

I have seen some "Chess Clocks" on web sites before, but they do not work at
all with JAWS.

Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

With Best Regards,
Alan
