Hi Francis,
The file length of this podcast is 34 minutes 59 seconds.
Now, for an easier way to move through an item (such as a podcast) in
WMP, press alt-v then e and then go into Enhancements Submenu, and enter
on Show Enhancements to check it. You now need to enter on Play Speeds
Settings.
At this point you press the tab key to tab around in the pane. You will
eventually come to a left/right slider (as JAWS calls it) that counts up
the elapsed time in seconds. This is where the action is. If you press
the up- or right-arrow key(s), you move forward; if you press the
down/left arrow key(s), you move back. One press of an arrow key moves
by 1/20 (5%) of the file length. Shift+arrow = 1/400; ctrl+shift+arrow
= 1/8000; of the file length. It is thus possible to get precision
within seconds.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Listening to a FS podcast
I was listening to the July 2010 podcast from FS and after half an hour
of listening, used the F7 function on the pc to stop it temporarily but
when I came back and tried to listen to the rest, there was nothing.
Is there a way to fast forward the podcast so that I don't have listen
to the first half? I used Windows Media Player to listen.
