Criteria that it's accessible because of the keyboard shortcuts

into the program.
Now, to each their own, but I think their editing capabilities,
despite
it being basic, is quite good. But I will still use GoldWave for
more
advanced editing, including adding effects.
So, for JAWS users, you should have at least GoldWave as one
audio
program at your disposal.

I've been playing with the trial ver this morning and delighted
due to the following reasons which I have not found in any other
such recorder I've explored.
1. totally accessible with Jaws with hot keys built into the
software.
2. Lossless recording quality. So I am a huge obsessive audio
phile and any app that degrades sound quality even one bit form
the original is a deal breaker for me. I gotta say with the
'software' mode, and recording output set to 192kBPS stereo Mp3 I
couldn't find any diff between the original and the recording. I
tried this with some mp3 songs already on my PC to really be able
to tell any diff and found no difff in the recording. Also
distortion at high pitch/volume parts of this grunge song had
zero distortion.
3.
Part of my recent research to record streaming content also was
to use my GW Micro's BookSense's line-in to record on the BS off
my PC. I gotta say that too dipped the recording quality
noticeably and tended to add distortion especially at the high
pitch/volume portions of the original. Besides that way is so
much more cumbersome as u gotta have your PC, the BS and the
3.5mm-3.5mm cord.
I am buying the Std Edition and recommend it to anyone remotely
interested in recording off other devices or the internet.
