The updating to SP3 can take as much as an hour, depending on all the
backups that need to be generated.

Hi, SP3 shouldn't in theory be an issue if she's running jaws 6, i've used
jaws 5 on SP3 in the past and it seems to work well enough. just allow it
to do what it wants/has to do regarding files etc.

I suggested to a friend that she update to XPSP3 and so she had a Jaws
chalenged / sighted friend help her using the direct download link

by Mr. Ferrin. After the download & install was complete she got a
message
stating that the catalogue files were not installed. would you all

tell me if this is normal or something went wrong and if something went
wrong, how to fix the issue? She is running XP Home & Jaws 6.2. All help
