Betsy! It is a desktop keyboard that I have. Sometime ago, some other jaws-users subscriber was, like me, being driven around the bend by this dratted wheel, and I think, got an answer as to how it can be killed, or, at the very least, be made less sensitive. The little finger of my left hand, I swear doesn't touch the rotten thing, but it, the finger, only has to approach it which it does quite often when I am pressing keys on the number line, and then the cursor will, all of a sudden, have moved up a couple of lines. Just about drives me into insanity: not a very long journey I must admit, but a journey I am trying, with no thanks to the pseudo mouse, to defer for as long as is possible.
