Ok then how do you make your address book from outlook express into a .csv?
I'm taking it from my desktop and putting it on my laptop.
My desktop is running XP, jaws 12, and outlook express, and my laptop is windows 7, jaws 12, and outlook.
Thanks for helping me.
Patti

Hello there;

Actually after reading your message again, I don't think you can import a
.wab file into MSOutlook.
You would need to have a CSV'file,
Although I think there is a .wab converter out there, I've never used such
thing.

Hi there;

Your almost right,

1, you need to enter on;

Import from another program or file

Next you need to;
Down arrow and enter on,
Personal addressbook.
You should now see/hear;
File to import,
Tab once you'll be on the browse button,
And then you can navigate to your thumb drive and find the
addressbook.wab.

Hope this helps.

Isn't .wav only a sound file?

Hey David,
All I have is when I press enter on import/export is

Import from another program

Import internet mail account settings

Import internet mail address

When I went on import from another program there was a choice to choose
outlook, then it took me to contacts, but there wasn't a choice to get
my

addressbook from my address that I put from my thumb drive. The Patti's
addressbook.wav didn't show up in the list.

So what do I do now?

Patti

Hello there;

You need to;

1, open outlook;

2, now press,
Alt+f=file menu,
Up arrow and enter on,
Import&export
And choose outlook.

3, now you need to choose, import from another file or program,
Now, choose personal addressbook.
Now, you can browse for the file which is on your
Thumbdrive.

Let me nlo if this helps.

Hey Gang,
Ok here is my problem for the day. smiles
I exported my address ok from my outlook express, and put it on a thumb
drive, so I could import it to my laptop running,
Windows 7, Jaws 12, and outlook
I can't figure out how to do this.
I looked on the tips page and there was no information on this.
I opened up outlook
1 Went to the menu
2 arrow up to import/export
and this is where I got lost. Could some one give me the steps to put
my
address in here?
I put the addressbook.wav in my document on the laptop.
Thanks for any help
