Can you import contacts from another program like WLM easily?

TBird has a spell checker. I have had no problems setting up accounts
for my wife and me. I wouldn't use anything else.

Does thunderbird have or use the word spell checker? Also is it difficult
to set up different identities? As far as wlm, I am equally split. There
are features that I really like and others that I dislike with the same
level. On the 10 scale both rate a 10.
