I just went into Jaws9 and looked at Yahoo scripts and they are not by
jetendra. Did you download them and install them yourself?

So the Jaws scripts that you want for Yahoo are in version 7? If so you
can copy them to Jaws12.

I upgraded jaws from jaws 7 to jaws 11. and I am running yahoo messenger
8.415 I am able to read my contacts list and that is it. i am also able
to toggle between the message window and typing window by hitting f 6 but
I am not able to read any messages that I get or that I send. when it was
working before it would say michverrier says and the message when I hit
enter and then arrow up to read what i have written it would read it. it
would also say something at the top of the page that says that the
contact i was talking to was using a different version of yahoo messenger
and serten things would not be available. and i am not even getting that.
well I hth. from Mich.

Mitch,
Why can't you use the same scripts as before? Did you upgrade Jaws or
Yahoo?

Hi Mitch,
I save many emails and I came across this old message. Unsure if
valid or not but it might help you.
Hello all!
Clicking the link bellow, you cand download Jaws 11.0 and all
versions Scripts for Yahoo Messenger 10.0.
These scripts are updated by Pontes IT Department, Romania.
Last update: 12 march 2010.
The messages in the instant window are read automatically by Jaws.
The alt + 1, 2, 3, ... 9 keystrokes work correctly.
The emoticons are spoken. The graphics were labeled one by one.
New keystroke added: control + shift + enter open the last address
found in the window. For instance, if someone send you a Youtube
link, you press control + shift + enter and the web browser will open
the last link (URL) vizible in current window..
Note:
If you use Yahoo Messenger 8, the scripts work like before, nothing
changed for this version, only emoticons are spoken and the keystroke
Control + Shift + Enter click the last link..
During the instalation you will be ask about version of JAWS that you
use with Yahoo, after, if the jaws is in another language than
English, it is necesary to choose it during the instalation, for
instance, not ENU, but ITA, HUN etc..
Here it is the link for download:

Enjoy
Manu

and cullers set to always use my fonts and cullers checked. I also
have un checked all the idems in the show/ hide menu. like tool bar
search bar yahoo voice bar etc. I am not sure what I have left out.
I know there is a option to have it set to be able to read all the
messages etc like a accessibility moad or something but I am not
sure where to find it. if some one can help me with this that would
be grate. many thanks. I am erry frustrated. from Mich.
