I got it.
I went to insert F2 and scrolled down the list and found everything was
checked properly and when I read my document, it was back to normal.
Go figure.
I did hit the "manage applications while in JAWS.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] microsoft word issue
I have XP pro and 12.0
I hit something by mistake in microsoft word.
When I read a document, JAWS now says; "paragraph mark", when I am on a
blank line or, at the end of each line.
also; when reading a word in all caps, JAWS reads it with a hi pitch.
I checked JAWS verbosity but there were too many options for me to
decipher
which should be checked.
Thanks for any help.
Rich
