Hello Tasha, Try just typing the word "JAWS" (without the quotes) into the Windows start menu search box. Press enter key right after typing and without using a space. I have three versions of JAWS on my system, and the first one in the results is the latest version even though it is listed third in the All Programs list. If you use a down arrow after typing and before pressing enter key, you will start an earlier version of JAWS if you have one installed. Otherwise, use the Run dialog box. Press Windows key R and then type in JAWS13 and press enter key.
Take care. I get an aerror message, but can't tell what it is because jaws is off. This is a big problem, because it means that if jaws crashes, it is difficult if not impossible to relaunch it. A control-alt-j keyboard shortcut also doesn't work.
