Hi Any hotkey, such as control+alt+j to start JAWS can only exist in one icon/shortcut on the system or it won't work at all. If you have icons for other versions of JAWS, check each one to see what shortcut key is assigned. If it's control+alt+j, press backspace to erase it, tab to OK and press enter.

I get an aerror message, but can't tell what it is because jaws is off. This is a big problem, because it means that if jaws crashes, it is difficult if not impossible to relaunch it. A control-alt-j keyboard shortcut also doesn't work.
