I like this one better, because it is so sinple

I've tried both the regular Google search page and the accessible Google.
For whatever reason, I find I get better results via the regular Google.
However, in the regular Google, my setting occasionally fail, and in past
I;'ve easily been able to set them up again. Now of course Google has
changed and made it impossible for screen readers to do this. Good grief,
what a situation! With all the talent at Google, one would figure doing a
job correctly would be a cinch. But remember, for years Google did not give
a damn about blind users. And this from a company which otherwise promotes
it's liberalism. Lots of nonsense.

alive accessible google search page without all the annoying stuff

I've been following the gripes being expressed here about the regular search at google.com with JAWS and all the google annoyances that google thrusts in your face at google.com. so why even bother with google.com when u can still
very effectively and equally thoroughly use the accessible google search
page that is a delight to this day to use with JAWS.

When I am home regular Google is fine, however, at work I loved the
Accessible version, it was quick and fast and I did not have to spend a long time trying to find where to start reading, did not have to see adds and got pages that usually read to me right away if that was what I needed. I used
it all the time for medications, cancer trials, medical equipment, terms I
was not familiar with and need to see a bit more detail sometimes to be sure I was hearing the dictator correctly. Now I hate having to use the regular page at work, takes a lot longer and sometimes I get pages that just do not open or read for me. I really would like Accessible back for work at least.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] a google search work around

When using google to perform a search sometimes when typing nothing gets
written in the edit field. This can be frustrating but a work around that
seems to work for me is to temporarily switch to the "view google in mobile"
link and then switch back. Then at least for a while the problem goes away
only to return again periodically. (smile) I like the regular google because
the page shows much more info.
