That is way more sound card than you need for this purpose but it will do 
what you want. Like I said a really basic card less then $20 will fill the 
bill.

Using the control panel make sure that your internal card is the system 
default and then in the JAWS window go to utilities and sound card sub menu. 
Set JAWS to use the external and you're good to go.

Lets see if I understand everything:
First plug-in the USB sound card.
Second go to control panel and make sure that everything besides Jaws is 
coming out of the internal sound card.
Third of all, go to Jaws contex menu and then the sound card sub menu, and 
press enter on the USB external sound card.
Is this correct?
Also I found this following sound card on Amazon, Does this sound like what 
I need?
