Hello Cristobol, I haven't experienced the same problem, so I am not sure if the following steps will resolve the issue, but here are some steps you might want to try.
1. Go into the Settings Center using JAWS key with 6. 2. In the search box type "modify schemes" without the quotes and arrow down to that result. 3. Press spacebar on the "Modify Schemes" choice. 4. Use ALT+e to activate the Edit button for the selected scheme. 5. Use CTRL+Tab key until you get to the "Control State" page. The first choice in the list of items is what you can try to change. The item is app CTL and the behavior for that entry is for JAWS to speak the control state using normal voice and to say "application control." 6. Tab to the group of radio buttons that can change the setting for this option and use down arrow to the Ignore button. 7. Use the OK button, then use the Save button, and close the Settings Center using the OK button. Again, I am not sure if this will resolve the problem but it might be worth a try. Take care. The one problem I came across immediately and can't seem to figure out if it's something I maybe did or if it's a Jaws thing is when I go to my Google Reader page (my homepage) Jaws will announce "application control" before each one of the links at the top of the page. Search, Play, Drive, Maps, Calendar, etc. Jaws will also announce "application control after every single rss entry as I go down the page with the h key. The title entry for the particular update will be read then that same text. I have tried using different voices including the new Vocalizer voices and in both browsers (IE 9 and Firefox), but Jaws will always say "application control". I did not merge my settings with my previous JFW 13 since I prefer to not do so and have tried recreating the same settings as in the past and don't know if I may have perhaps enabled a certain behavior in Jaws to make it speak this text or if it's just a v 14 bug. The application control text only seems to be present on the Google reader page. I have tried visiting other Google pages and no problem there. Any ideas?
