And if it won't boot to safe mode, he has a decision to make. If he has
stuff on it he can't live without, find a tech to pull the stuff off and
do a factory restore. If he doesn't care about anything on it, just do
a factory restore, usually buried under the f8 menu, or sometimes under
f10 or another key, any of those options must be chosen as soon as the
pc is powered up. Usually after the first good infection, there isn't
any saving it.

Hello
My father is visiting here from S. California, and last night he got a
pop up from FBI(this is a scam) he did not know and he tried to get
out of it, and did everything that he knew how to stop it, when a
little camera popped up and now his picture is on the screen, again a
total scam
so question is hwhat can we do to remove this and now his lap top is
locked and he can't do anything
It's a windows 7 and useing office 20010
