I didn't look until I was forced to. When I tabbed, It read the choice but when I pressed the space bar, it didn't check the button. It did work if I pressed R which moved me from choice to choice and allowed me to check the button I wanted. But I've gotten stuck again because I'm at another point where they're asking about what kinds of devices I use to read, and nothing is getting checked when I tab from choice to choice. When I press R, it says, "no radio buttons". And there don't appear to be check boxes either. I know, I know, everyone is completing this damn survey with no problem except me! If you remember the old style radios that had big buttons on them. When you would push one button in, the one that was pushed in, would pop out. The idea is that only one button can be selected at a time. Your problem may come from trying to look at the screen and listen to JAWS. Just listen to JAWS. As you tab onto the radio button it will announce the button selection, if that is the one you want, you can hit the space bar. If you are using the arrow keys, sometimes you will hear button before or after the label for that button. Hitting space on the label won't do anything. Just tab and you should be fine. I took that same survey earlier today and didn't notice anything strange about it. -- Blue skies. Dan Rossi Senior Oracle Database Administrator Carnegie Mellon University.
