Than you will have to go to window update and hide them from there. Do a express to check for updates. Arrow down to IE 9 and hit the content key and enter on hide. do the same for I E 10. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fred Adams" <hamsh...@tampabay.rr.com>

Yes, I also uninstalled IE10 and IE9. After I unstall them they go back to
the list to be installed again and this is where I want to remove or hide
them. I have tried installing IE9 but my computer also tries to install
IE10 and this locks up my computer every time. I just want to go back to
IE8 and forget about installing IE9 and IE10. I want to remove them from
the windows update list.

I am using W7, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I would appreciate someone
refreshing my memory on removing an update from the windows updates. I
have tried highlighting the hide icon in the applications menu and
pressing
enter or left mouse key. None of this has worked. I have done this many
times before but I have forgotten the steps I used. Please refresh my
memory. Thanks much,
