Hi, This is for Windows 8 but I would think it should be similar for earlier versions of Windows. Go to Internet Explorer, go to the tools menu, go to internet options, go to the programs tab, select set default programs, pick Microsoft Outlook from the list, go down to the check box for send E-mail protocol and check it, save the settings.
