One of the problems I have with Yahoo mail, is that it turns on "application
mode".
I have to press Insert Z to turn back on the virtual cursor.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws and yahoo mail

Scorpio, I do not understand how this new Yahoo mail is completely accessible.
Others on this list have also said they are having trouble, so it's not just
me. My problem with all this is that I am an average computer user, and many of
you on this list are much more technically savvy than I will ever be. I do not
want to have to jump through seventeen hoops, stand on my head and do whatever
else just to read my emaiol. Sighted people don't have to go through all these
changes to do so. I couldn't figure out how to get the Yahoo mail to do
absolutely anything. So even with my several years of knowledge with computers
and jaws it isn't enough. To me that is too complicated. Thanks to all for the
mobile yahoo site. I tried it and I can use it just fine. That is weird to me,
but I won't question it. (smile) Judy & Tallie
