I'm not experiencing this phenomenon. I try copying "Computer" or "Recycle bin" and Jaws said nothing. I then try copying a shortcut placed by an application such as Jaws or iTunes and I received the appropriate Jaws message "copied."
I will add that I did end up with a major Jaws crash leaving me with no audio. I tried all methods of unloading jaws from memory including Insert+Windows key+F4 and this did not work either. I tried my custom KillJaws batch file and this also didn't work. I had to launch Window Eyes to close everything and force a total Jaws shut down then reload Windows. I don't know if this crash was related, but I've been running this computer for a couple of days without a crash. Would test again, but I don't think its worth the incredibly small yet possible file corruption possibility.
