Hi Mike,
That keystroke has been around since at least Windows 95
folks used to call it the 3-finger salute.

Hi Flor Maria, & Trish,

I just checked my Win7 system & this is the dialogue & list of options that
came up using the, Alt, Control, + Delete, keystroke:

Windows Log-On dialogue, Log-On Frame
Lock this computer button

Switch User button

Log-Off button

Change a password button

Start Task Manager button

Cancel button

Ease of Access button

HTH
Take care.

Alt control delete does something very different on windows7, opening
the windows logon screen or something.

Hi Donnie & Kimsan,

Just to add a keystroke to the 1 SeƱor Justice spoke of, in XP for sure,
the
keystroke, Alt, Control, + Delete, will also open the task manager. I
don't
have access to my Win7 computer at the moment to check this keystroke on
that system. HTH
Take care.

Hi Kimsan,
The keystroke for the Windows Task Manager in Windows XP, Vista and 7
is:
Control + Shift + Escape
There are other ways to get there, but I thought I'd keep it simple.
