the admin is the settings your computer maker set. so its not really a person or cannot be changed I believe. I'm guessing on that because I've tried to make myself the computer admin with no luck. the only thing you can do is a temp computer admin like when you install and uninstall/delete stuff. -----Original Message----- From: Liuda Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 1:20 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Administrator of a computer This computer was registered in my name when I bought it, I assume. How can I check and where can I check to determine if I am still Admin. On this computer??? Thanks very much. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 4:01 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Administrator of a computer you have administrator rights to the computer, if it's registered in your name then this is your rights to call the shots. A computer can have multiple identies that is shared by other people, so when you logged into your side of it, it's all your rights to whatever is there, you should be able to remove programs and etc, unless somehow the program in question you wish to remove is also admin to another user of your computer, then both parties have to log in and remove it or make changes. I'm not 100% sure about this, just guessing here, since a computer is different from like a checking account with 2 people on the same account and one can't make independent decisions without the other aware of it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liuda" <balciu...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 2:55 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Administrator of a computer Okay fine.
