Hi It looks like control+alt+v will give useful information for Internet explorer. It tells me I'm running version 10.something. But for programs that use something different to identify their version, the version number may not help answer your question. For example, for any of the programs in Microsoft Office 2010, control+alt+v will tell you that you're running version 14.something.
