1, first navigate to the first folder you want to copy files,
use keystroke, ctrl+c=copy,
2, now navigate to the next folder where you wish to add more file
to
clipboard, one once you've select them,
use the keystroke,
windows-key+insert+c=apend to clipboard.
now, if you for some reason use the keystroke, ctrl+c,
yu will be prompted, whether you want to over write what's already
on the
clipboard.
hope this helps.

Yes I want to know the method of appending of files from different
folders and paste them altogether. The idea is that I want to select
different files from one folder and then select some more files from
different other folders and append them to previously selected and
copied files so as to give paste command in the end to save time in
repeating paste process each time when ever I need to select files
from different folders.

you do know this isn't appending the clipboard

After copying files from folder A, paste them where you
want them , then go to folder B, and repeat the process as
necessary.

But what if I want to select files from different folders? After
selecting and copying few files from folder 'A', how can I select
files from folder 'B'?

there is a different method used in selecting non-contiguous
files,
illustrated by the difference I made with the subject line hereto,
and
therefore you do not use the JAWS+Windows+c for it. Rather, you
first
unselect with a press of ctrl+space, then use ct rl+Up/DownArrow
to
navigate up/down, all the while holding down the ctrl key, and
then
press SPACEBAR on the files you want to select. You COPY your
SLECTED
FILES to the CLIPBOARD for PASTING ... in the NORMAL way.

great explanation, thanks

I see that nobody at present seems to have answered the
question as
to
what is the difference between appending, or adding, text to
the
clipboard, versus copying it to the clipboard. What appending
does,
which copying to the clip board does not, is, add to the copied
text
that is already on the clipboard, for later pasting. If you
merely
copy to the clipboard, then you are replacing the content
already on
the clipboard. Thus, copying to the clipboard is a once-off
move.
Appending, on the other hand, can be done intermittently. And
in
answer to another question asked, yes you can 'summarize' a
page by
this means - by appending discrete passages to the clipboard,
and
then
pasting the clipboard content(s) into another place or
document.
I hope that that was quite clear.

i've been told why people append to their clipboard, but is it
easier
to append to the clipboard, or to just copy/paste to a
document. in
other words, what's the difference?

Hi Maria,
I've had no problems with the keystroke, Insert, WindowsKey,

Possibly a
Jaws repair might be needed.
Take care.

I have not been able to successfully append to clipboard
since
they
changed the combination keys in JAWS 14 I think.
