make sure the screen is maximized.

if your using windows 7 or 8, you can, function key plus up arrow, or, you
can alt+spacebar then the letter x, or, up arrow enter on maximize.
if you hear maximized is unavailable, then something else needs to be
considered.

This happens to me sometimes. Try closing Outlook and reopen it and if
that doesn't help try a reboot. This generally fixes the problem for
me.

Best,
Al

Subject: [JAWS-Users] messages automatically read problem

Hi all,

I'm using Windows 7 Ultima and JAWS 14. I have always set my JAWS in
Outlook (which is where I get my email) to read messages automatically
when
I open them. It's always worked, until today. Now I have to manually
get
it to read the message. I did check my settings in JAWS, and read
messages
automatically is definitely checked. Any ideas about what the problem
might
be, or what I can do about it?

Thanks for any help,
Shoshana
