[JAWS-Users] the program has stopped working

I have a hp netbook running windows 7 starter and I’m using jaws 15 with it.  
usually when I use programs on it like notepad, windows media player 12i get an 
error window that says the program has stopped working  is this error similar 
to the error windows explorer has stopped working
what would be a solution to fix this?
