Hi Elaine,

In the interest of other list members that may incur the same problem, how
did you finally get rid of the program / resolve the volume problem? Thanks
much.
Take care.
Mike

Hi Elaine,

In doing a quick Google search for, KNCTR, here a couple things said about
it:

KNCTR gives you the ability to stay connected with the people that matter
most. Call any mobile or landline phone number across North America,
absolutely ...

Pronounced [kuh-nek-ter] KNCTR brings you amazing daily videos, as well as a
FREE phone on your computer to call any mobile or landline phone anywhere
...

If you don't know how or where you got this program, it should probably be
removed. Click on the link below to find removal steps. After the website
loads press the letter, H, 1 time to get to the steps.

Take care.

Hi Guys

wonder if someone might be able to help me? i’m using a laptop on xp with
an older version of jaws, think it’s 8.

somehow something called KNCTR has been installed and when I click a
shutdown button, the wave sound goes to 0 and I lose all sounds.
unfortunatly I dont have any vision and dont now have any sighted help to
get the wave volume back up so I can hear jaws.

does any one know how I can access the volume controls without help? I know
it’s a longshot but someone might be able to give me instructions.

Luckily I am typing typing this on my own computer, not the laptop. *smiles*

thanks for any advice.

Elaine
