Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows 8 and Jaws 14

Hi Naomi,
this could be the problem:
https://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD2503B90001R01.htm

Note that the instructions for accessing hwsetup are for windows 7 and
previous. In windows 8.1 you should be able to search for it from the
start screen. That is, press windows key to move to the start screen,
type hwsetup, and assuming it's selected in the list of results, just
press Enter to open it.

David.

Hi everyone, I have just purchased a Toshiba notebook with windows 8 and
have installed my copy of Jaws 14 onto it. Just wondering, when I press
alt f4 to close something, like Internet or Mail, nothing closes, some
menu comes up asking about double screens or pc screen. Does anyone know
what I'm doing wrong? I have to say this windows is quite different and
a maize to navigate but it's early days I guess.
Kind Regards,
