all is o.k with logging into my bank, if it's not affected, then I can deal with the rest of annoying pop ups. So this auto-complete for the forms is unchecked and the other was from the address bar also unchecked. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Trish" <patricia.zoell...@tx.rr.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2014 5:49 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Password Prompts In Internet Explorer
Hi again, I don't know how I missed it the first go round, but it was right there first item and now it's unchecked. So they both should be unchecked then? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Lee" <brianl...@charter.net> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2014 5:20 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Password Prompts In Internet Explorer Hello Trish, One thing to keep in mind is that the checkbox only controls whether or not a person is prompted each time. In that same page there is a checkbox for whether or not auto complete is used for user names and passwords on forms. If you don't want passwords to be a part of auto complete then that checkbox should likely also be unchecked. Also that same page of the dialog has a button for deleting auto complete history. If that button is used there is an option for removing the history of passwords. Take care. I found it in IE 10 the last item on that page and it was checked. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Lee" <brianl...@charter.net> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2014 5:01 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Password Prompts In Internet Explorer Hello Rick, In IE 11, Tools menu, Internet options, Content tab, auto Complete settings button, ask me before saving passwords checkbox. I don't have a version of IE 10 but it is likely the same or quite similar. Take care.
