all is o.k with logging into my bank, if it's not affected, then I can deal
with the rest of annoying pop ups.
So this auto-complete for the forms is unchecked and the other was from the
address bar also unchecked.

Hi again,

I don't know how I missed it the first go round, but it was right there
first item and now it's unchecked.
So they both should be unchecked then?

Hello Trish,

One thing to keep in mind is that the checkbox only controls whether or not
a person is prompted each time. In that same page there is a checkbox for
whether or not auto complete is used for user names and passwords on forms.
If you don't want passwords to be a part of auto complete then that checkbox
should likely also be unchecked. Also that same page of the dialog has a
button for deleting auto complete history. If that button is used there is
an option for removing the history of passwords.

Take care.

Thanks so much. I found it in IE 10 the last item on that page and it was
checked.

Hello Rick,

In IE 11, Tools menu, Internet options, Content tab, auto Complete settings
button, ask me before saving passwords checkbox. I don't have a version of
IE 10 but it is likely the same or quite similar.

Take care.

Is anyone aware of a way to disable the save password prompt in IE 10 and
11?
TIA,

Rick Justice
