I have word fourteen point something. But I thought that it was offece ten. I
have never updated it to my knowledge . However, when I do a jaws key plus ctrl
V it reports back that it is fourteen point something. What do you think, what
do I have? Do I have the office ten that I loaded on this computer a couple of
years ago or the office fourteen that I never paid for or downloaded? Here's
the thing. When I go to the start button and choose to open MS word it teles me
that I am opening word ten. It has me all confused. LeDon.

Yes, the web page www.office.com/training has links to training for all of the
Office apps. If you need the 2010 version however, you may have to do a web
search to get the exact page that you need. Since MS is now promoting Office
2013, the links on the Office.com page will direct you to training for 2013.
Just do a search for "Microsoft training for Word 2010." This should get you
what you are looking for.

Is there such a page as this one which would train you on the use of MS
word?

Here you go Lenny,

Try out these links. The first one has the option to either download
tutorials or to watch them online. The second one is a good explanation of
the Ribbon tabs, to learn these however, you will have to take the
information from this tutorial and then check out what is in each ribbon tab
yourself.

Lenny,

Which version of Excel are you using? There is quite a bit of training to be
had on the Office.com web site. Also, Freedom Scientific has some Excel
specific free FS casts dealing with Excel, one of them is about how to work
with column and row headers in Excel. Then there is always the g ood old
web search.

Is there a place where I can learn the basic? I just installed it and want
to create a fairly simple spread sheet.
I would like to make headings for some columns, total a column and be able
to edit a cell.
