Hi Steve, I found the problem. I run this program called, Auslogics, the full pay for version & it's a really cool program. It does all kinds of neat stuff & 1 of the features is a tool called, System Advisor. Well, I did as advised by the program tool & that turned out to be bad advice! LOL LOL
I changed the settings back & now the YouTube converter loads / startsup just fine, & yes, I do have that setting on the Advanced tab to make it screenreader friendly checked. Thank you very much for your help / input. Take care. I am still running 3.12.2030 I think the number is. Also, did you check the box in the Advance Options to make it screen-reader friendly? It appears from what I've looked at that if you buy the premium version, you are essentially using the same software except that you may get faster downloads and more video options. Kinda like the erstwhile Jaws Home vs. Pro which used the same program, just the key that was different and allowed it to work on Pro and Ultimate Windows etc. Steve ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike B. Lately whether using XP or Windows7 I have to load the free converter several times before I get my bit rate & format options to show up. Also, once I can acces them when I up or down arrow through the options lists' Jaws isn't reading the choices so, I have to invoke the say line keystroke each time I arrow to be sure of what I'm selecting. I'm running the latest build & was curious if the premium version was any more accessible. Thanks again. Take Care. I used to see a slight delay after I pasted in the free version before the download button appeared. But, lately, it has been pretty fast and I'm not sure the pro version is worth it, unless there are download limits on the Free version. I don't use it enough to have encountered any difficulty. I have to start the Free program 3 or 4 times before I can do anything with it & various other things that used to work & don't function the same anymore. Take Care. If anyone has a YouTube premium membership, would you please give your feedback as to if having a membership is worth it & if having the membership makes Jaws navigation better? All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take Care. Mike This email was sent from my iBarstool.
