Hi If you want to really put JAWS to sleep for an application rather than just stopping speech, do the following.
1. While you're in the application itself, press JAWSkey+numbers row 6 to open the JAWS settings center. 2. Type Speech in the search box. 3. Arrow down to Sleep mode and press space to choose the setting you want, either disabled, enabled or enabled and unload synthesizer. 4.
