Hi

If you want to really put JAWS to sleep for an application rather than just
stopping speech, do the following.

1. While you're in the application itself, press JAWSkey+numbers row 6 to open
the JAWS settings center.

2. Type Speech in the search box.

3. Arrow down to Sleep mode and press space to choose the setting you want,
either disabled, enabled or enabled and unload synthesizer.

4. Tab to the OK button and press enter.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] sleep

Hi... Just got a new laptop and can’t remember how to put JAWS to sleep for a
particular application. Instructions would be appreciated.
