Agreed. However, this is the first time we have noticed that JAWS appears to check to see if it is enabled...Is this what is occurring? If it is and if it is not enabled it would be nice to get some messageing that JAVA access Bridge needs to be installed. Robin East

If you check the SF Website, where it tells you about additional programs and special instructions, Java Access Bridge is there. I see it used on my job for training where there are on line classes that have videos. For a fraction of a second at the top left of the screen like a dos screen background is black text is white a message appears and it reads: java Access Bridge is Enabled". Now it does not speak this but it is in white text with a black background. A sighted person has alerted me to this and that it does not appear with other versions of JAWS. So it appears that JAWS 16 checks to see if the JAVA Access Bridge is available and initializes it. This does not seem to appear in earlier versions of JAWS and has only appeared since JAWS 16 was installed. With earlier versions of JAWS this has not been noticed. My assumption is this is from JAWS. Am I correct or does someone have another theory?
