Hi, When I installed Office 2013 about a year an a half. I believe theere Was an option to download MS 1. I had to create a new username @outlook.com and a password to enter the MS 1 cloud. I didn't had to fiddle with anything to join at the time.
If, I remember, it gave me 7 gigs of storage. Besides having your personal space, You can create links and store stuff to share with your friends to enter your cloud, better than dropbox and more secure. I honestly have not mess with it much, because of time and learning things from this club.
