I can understand that. I did a google search for "is windows 10 the last windows" and found that info confirmed in zdnet, forbes, and a ton of other places, including this quote:

May 7, 2015 Apparently we'll be getting updates to Windows 10 from now on. At least that's what it looks like at the moment.
