But it installs then gives me an error that there was a problem installing the update. Then I have to hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Then I get this error: "Windows did not shut down correctly, would you like to turn it on in safe mode? I hit enter. It started up and I was able to do the update correctly.

Hi,
After you entered on the Apple update.
Tab to the install button,
Select the updates by arrowing and pressing the spacebar.
There could be a couple pending.

I believe you have to type in your password for your ID.

Then, the install option will appear again.

After all that, let iTunes install all.

Wait for the finish button and most likely a restart is needed for the
updates to save and work correctly.

HTH,

                                                Jorge

Subject: [JAWS-Users] prblem with apple software update

Hi, I am having trouble using apple software update. The update
will stop part way and I get a problem saying that the update did
not install properly. I then tried to restart it. A sighted
perion was there with me. Then the computer was stuck on
"Windows shutting down." I neghed to do a force-restart and I
tried again and the same problem happened. Is there a way I can
get this problem solved?
