He should be able to do this, however, as a work around, he could highlight
the lyrics, copy them, and paste them into a text document or a word
document. Not being able to print from the web could be a browser setting
that is misconfigured or it could have something to do with the website
itself. Has he tried printing from other web pages? I almost always use the
copy and paste method so I can get rid of the formatting sometimes copied
with the information that I want, plus I can then save the information in a
format other than html.

I have a client who can't print from the internet,
however, he can print from word, documents,
when he sends the print command to the printer, while on the internet, the
printer doesn't respond.
he wants to print out a few lyrics however, so far this is not possible.
never experienced this before.
