When you say caps locks, are you alluding to using a laptop
layout or standard keyboard?

Press windows key+enter, to start narrator.
You will hear a very nice male voice.
ALT+tab to the narrator settings window.
tab across to the various buttons.
A settings button allows you to change the voice, it�셲 speed,
it�셲 pitch, and it�셲 volume.
Pressing caps lock+escape, will quit narrator.
Pressing caps lock+f1, will bring up a list of 76 shortcut keys
for narrator using mainly the caps lock key in combo with other
keys.
I just spent one hour playing with it, fabulous, very
understandable.
