Hello Richard,
It sure did,Sorry I did not mention it earlier.

It work great with jaws and only required one command of alt + Y to start
the process and have your Word program open on a new doc.
It's a good tool to have, if you cannot reinstall openbook and you need to
scan important mail.
For $240 more or less.

I am back with openbook 9!

Jorge

Hi,
At one time I used an OCR program called easy OCR from EVAS,
A tech group from Rhode Island.

800-872-3827

The cost was round$240.
It worked just fine for the price considering the price of openbook.
I had lost my openbook key number at the time.

It works with jaws and I paid 99.95 plus what ever your state sales tax is
and if an update comes out in the first year after you purchase it it is
free but after the first year it is 29.95 please go to the web sight and
check it out.
I think there is a free trial version you can download and test to see if
you like it before you buy it.
The web sight is www.readingmadeeasy.com

I’m trying to find a possible free solution to scan text and have jaws read
to me the document this would be similar to OpenBook, but that software is
way out of my budget.
Email is golden!!!
