I have been using Cdex for some time to convert my cd library into mp3 files and store a backup on an external drive. Suddenly, it is not working. The screen is blank as far as Jaws is concerned and only a few letters according to a sighted person. It is so little information it makes no sense. I am using Windows 7, Jaws 17, a 64 bit machine, and an external cd drive which has worked beautifully with this program and still plays any cd accurately. I uninstalled Cdex and reinstalled it and did not resolve the problem thinking that something had been corrupted. The install said it was removing previous configuration files. Does anyone know what is going on and a fix or a different program to use instead? I like the ease of use with Cdex. But, something is not right now.
