I have given up running my DecTalk Express with Jaws 17, it did work OK with Jaws 16. You need a serial port adapter, about $10. Hi All, I was cleaning out my office the other day (they are giving us new carpet at work), and I found an old hardware DecTalk with a serial connector. Now aside from the connector issue, is the hardware DecTalk even supported anymore by Jaws? If so, is there a converter that will allow me to connect it to my laptop? In my opinion, the hardware DecTalk was the best speech ever so I am really hoping it is still a viable option. Thanks for any info.
