David f, Was that the case straight out the gate? When I purchased my Lenovo laptop, my sighted neighbor had to disable the function keys in the bios, then jaws and it's function keys work. The regular performance of the function keys before being disabled still worked though, I just had to add the fn key to them. For example, f1 turns down the volume, but now I just do fn f1.
