Hi Kimber,
You didn't mention which version of Windows you are using, but this works in
Windows 7:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\SndVol.exe

Simply copy and paste this into the target field in a new shortcut.
This will open the volume control, and at that point you can simply use the
up and down arrow keys, or the page up and down keys to change the volume
level.
Once you have the volume where you want it, simply alt + F4 to close the
dialogue.
Use caution when assigning a keystroke to your shortcut so that it does not
conflict with
a keystroke in another application.
If you need help in creating a shortcut, let us know.

HTH,
Rick Justice

Tomorrow's another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Creating a shortcut key to control system volume

Hi All,

Is it possible to create a shortcut key/key combination to control the
volume of jaws without having to open the systray then the speakers
then the volume?

Thanks,
Kimber
