Hi, Sorry about that, all,
If you tab five times, it says select which icons appear on the taskbar. That is how it says it. It says taskbar, but it means in the system tray. Enter on that link, and then you can check the box that says to show them all or something close to that. Take care, all.

Hi,
I get much more consistent results if I press windows+B to get into the
notification area. Once you do that, just right arrow to all of the icons in
your notification area and press the applications key on any of them if you
want to do something with that icon. After you are done, press windows+D to
get back to the desktop. The windows+B works so well. It is best if you have
all of your icons showing in the notification area. To do this, Press CTRL
+I to open the settings app and press enter on system and down arrow twice
to notifications and actions. press enter on that and tab to the link that
says choose which icons appear in the system tray and enter on that. Check
the box that says show all. Close settings and press windows+B and all of
your icons will be there and just press right and left arrow to get to them.
By doing this, you do not have to mess around with the JAWS command of
insert+F11 to do anything with the notification area. Jim Flusche taught me
all of this, so give him the credit. I am just repeating what Jim taught me
to do. Thanks and take care.

Running Win 10, Jaws 17. When I press insert F 11 I get the message: “failed
to obtain the list of task tray icons” This jus started today. Have made no
changes. When I booted up got a message “window out,yes no?”

Searched the screen with Jaws cursor and tab key, could find nothing else so
being cautious that “yes” might get me something I didn’t want I just gave
it an alt, F4. Anyone have an idea of what is going on? Tom
