Hi.

No I don't know the installation location, since I use the portable version of virtual recorder. My best guess is program files (x86) somewhere. if on 64 bit.

Hey thanks for the tip. My windows defender was turned off but I think my anti-virus viper program is causing this error to appear. This happen with my k1000 program a while back. I had to place the path to k1000 in the exclusion area of the program. Do you know the complete path to the virtual recorder program? Thanks.

Hi.

Probably the same problem I get, Windows defender in my case insists this program has a really nasty virus in it. It delets the file when downloading, and if I turn it off and download it, when it comes back on it'll delete the file right on the spot. It won't let me get round to installing it unless I go into windows defender and make it allow this file.

The Virtual recorder program stopped working, so I uninstalled it and retried to install it again but I get the following error message. Anybody have any ideas to fix this issue? It's really a nice program to use once you understand its interface. Thanks.
