David, you said Windows Live Mail can't import with a Hotmail account, but I was under the impression that WLM will allow basic retrieval and sending of emails using a Hotmail POP or IMAP account. am I wrong about this?

Hi Arianna,
Using JAWS and win10, the two best clients that work best with JAWS are
Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail. Right behind, After the new build of
win10 that will come out in a week, the win10 mail app will be
accessible with JAWS. Unfortunately, without Outlook at this moment,
Thunderbird is your only choice with which you can import any account
into it, imap or pop. With Windows Live Mail, you cannot import MS
accounts like Outlook mail, or Hotmail. I would suggest Thunderbird at
this point, because there have been some little hiccups with Windows
Live Mail.

Have a great day.

I know this question has been asked before, but since I wasn't using W10
at that time I really didn't pay attention to the answers.

What is the most JAWS friendly email program to use? I can't say I'm
crazy about Outlook, so any other suggestions?

Thank you.

Arianna
