Hi,
When do you do these Jaws keys strokes. Do you do them after you click on
the pdf link in IE or do you do them after Adobe Reader DC has the PDF file
open?

Maria, this is different from the previous query, and I can answer this one
fast. You should try FS's OCR feature: JAWS key+spacebar, then o. for the
entire document, press d after o. It may take a few moments, but once the
OCR conversion has completed, a new window will open with the result.

Doubtless, this issue has been addressed countless times. However, I just
installed Adobe Reader DC on my w10 laptop with JAWS 17.  When I open one of
my pdf documents I get the empty document alert.  Like Ronald, I need to
know how to remedy the situation.
