Not true. Windows 7 supports IE11. I have it on my Win7 machine.

I'm afraid that Windows 7 will only allow you Internet Explorer8 or 9.
You won't be able to install 11 on that computer unless you upgrade to
Windows 8 or 8.1, or even 10.
I believe this is true, as I have never seen Internet Explorer 11 installed
on any computer lower than Windows 8.1 or 10, but since it's been so long
since I've dealt with Windows 8.1, take what I say with a grain of salt.

I had somebody repair an old laptop and they replaced the hard drive. I am
running Windows 7 and the version of IE is 8. I am a new JAWS 17 user and I
went to the Help menu and tried to update IE to version 11 but it only
updated 8. What do I need to do to get IE 11 loaded on my machine/?
